I think it is clearly a parody and satire. Ryan Reynolds really worked overtime to make that clear.

It’s certainly a farce and I don’t take it anywhere as serious as I do any other MCU movie (as much as I can take any of them that seriously.)

what serious parts? there were certainly emotionally stirring dramatic moments, but what moments would you consider actually serious? The movie literally starts with Deadpool using Logans corpse as a nunchaku

Its confusing because DP and DP 2 are farcical films, but have a small contained serious story in them with a bit of heart. DP&W is a departure from those into full blown farcical, fox-men defunct, MCU blah blah.

Didnt feel that way to me. Actually, take away the one liners and nostalgic fan service, and this film felt like a Snyder driven DC flick.

But you see, the nostalgia here seemed heartfelt, because Reynolds is being nostalgic, not just cashing in on nostalgia cynically.
