Did not make opening week projections. Being called a flop.

I specifically did not attend opening weekend as a reaction to the OGL mess they created.
GFR has a very notorious bias and lives off controversy clicks. They aren't worth the electricity to power the server..

It's Elminster.

I mean, yes, it's a projection of Simon's lack of confidence holding him back . . . but Simon's psyche manifesting itself as Elminster.
I don't think so. Simon would likely recognize Elminster since he outright claims knowledge of the man. He didn't recognize the mage before him.

It seems like an older version of HIMSELF, which makes sense as both someone Simon wouldn't recognize, still be familiar, is an Aumar, and is a play on himself being the one that holds him back.

I took a bathroom break when they first arrived at the cemetery and were preparing to cast speak with dead. I already saw this preview clip before the movie and didn't need to see it again.
Let's see. The second guy the ask died before witnessing what happened to the helm, Then they wake up the wrong guy, who has a similar sounding name and died before the battle by hitting his head on the bathtub, then they forget to ask the the last question and leave the reanimated corpse behind.

The writers admit this sequence was Monty Python inspired, and they wanted to get the Pythons in to do the voices, before realising most of them are dead...
