‘Tis the season to give and to receive!

One thing I received was the Ambush on Mandalore Star Wars Lego set, so now I can recreate the meeting of Bo-Katan’s Nite Owls and the Children of the Watch!

I gave my wife the official Stardew Valley cookbook, and Santa gave each of us a D&D Lego mini figure in our stockings.

I got a D&D backpack …

I got a bunch of POD books (mostly OSRIC and S&W stuff), a copy of the new HarnMaster: Roleplaying in Kethira book (still in transit to me). And I paid off my iPad, upgrading to an e-ink reader (because my eyes).

We’re big book readers and switched to e-ink readers a few years ago. They’re absolutely fantastic. So much easier on the eyes and generally easier to read.

Yeah, I realized that the iPad was killing my eyes AND I really didn't use it for anything other than reading/editing PDFs and comics. Both things that the reMarkable will let me do, while not killing my vision.

My son got me the D&D 3.5 book, Complete Arcane. Comes in handy, too, as he's planning on running a 3.5 wu jen in my next campaign, which should likely start this summer.

Nothing of the geeky variety this year.

I got a few flannel shirts, a few henleys, a new pair of quality leather boots, and razor blades for my DE safety razor.

My friends and I inevitably gift each other a few games on Steam, but that's as geeky as it'll get this Christmas.

I have a new leather briefcase for carrying my D&D books, and new batteries for the golf rangefinder.
