A direct sequel would seem to be related to Xenk or Sas Tam. Every other thread seems to be tied off
Yeah, when Szass Tam first showed up in the movie, I thought there might be plans afoot to set him up as a BBEG across a series of films.

As much as everybody loves Regé-Jean Page, I think it would be a real challenge to tell a satisfying story with Xenk as the main protagonist.

If they can get the actor I’d bet we’d at least see him again.

Oh yeah. It would be a delight to see Regé-Jean play Xenk again.

I just think the character works better as a supporting character than as a lead, you know? I mean, Xenk is just a little too straight-laced / serious / literal, you know? He's also just a little too good at everything. He's a bit of a Gary Stu. It's all played for laughs in Honor Among Thieves because he's got the other characters to contrast with - plus he's only in part of the film. I think it would be tricky to make Xenk work as the lead through a whole film.

Xenk v. Tam would be pretty easy

Oh yea. I agree.

Except something genius could make it work but it would be a very different kind of movie, I think.
