Arcane Spell Failure (and reducing it)

Greetings All,

I was wondering what methods are there of reducing Arcane Spell Failure. For example Elven Chain reduces it by 10% for Chainmail.

Are there any feats? Armour qualities? Magic Items? or anything that can do this?

The Still Spell feat eliminates ASF completely, although it does raise the spell slot by one.

Mithral reduces ASF by 10%

Mage Armor and the Shield spell have no ASF

Bracers of Armor have no ASF

Bards can wear light armor and suffer no ASF (note that armor that would normally be medium counts as light if it is made of Mithral - so that Mithral Breastplate doesn't hinder a bard's spellcasting) but only while casting bard spells.

Core or non-core doesn't matter as long as I can get a reference.

It is related to a Wizard so the bard information, although great, is a little off.

You might check out Complete Arcane. there is the Warmage (base class) that reduces ASF, if you were going that way then the Warlock is better. light armor has no ASF for invocations, i think an argument could be made for wands,staves, and scrolls. that means Mith. Breastplate. apart from that for straight wiz, the above is all that is Core. Not much for feats, but you may look at PRCs.

Edit : And Greater Mage Armor spell (Complete Arcane). +6 AC is good enough.

If you are going to epic levels you can just take a whole bunch of automatic quicken spells, then you can essentially wear a ton of armour and no spell failure.

I don't have Epic Sourcebook but making a spell into a quickend version does not eliminate somatic component.
