Vermitrax extends his hand, and utters strong accented words in an ancient language, hissing and vibrant it is. As the spell nears competition, from his outstretched hand emerges a ever so larger frost, skeletal version of it, that extends towards the nearby tomb guardian, capturing it in its icy grasp, crushing its bones. It then moves, pushing the skeleton towards its master. "You forgot this one, lich." he says. Inwardly, he thinks: "Seems you have your hands full Vlastodes, its a petty; you could have proven an useful minion now that you are an undead. I'll have to contempt with stealing your artifacts from your withered remains. Since your transformation is so recent, your phylanctery must be nearby, don't count on rising again." and then the wizard laughs a pretty evil laughter.

Actions: Bigby icy hand on TW2, hits for 15 dmg and is grabed. Move to actual position, then laugh, then use Disrupt Undead on Vlastodes, he looses 5 necrotic resistance.

It was rumored that Slardazial had spent vast amounts of time researching necrotic energies, and with the guidance of Zal'Ekthees, scribed many spells, which was later bond into a sealed tome. The tome, however, has never been seen. Could Vlastoes had discovered the tome and tried to cast a powerful spell contained among the pages of the tome?

It is true that my skeleton form will soon be defeated here, but Zal'Ekthees, through his dark magic, continues to pour negative and necrotic energies into my soul, which he now possesses, and create barriers to protect the phylanctery. I will rise again young mage, much more stronger than my current state. I am now bound to serve Za'Ekthees and do his bidding. He clearly wants to make much more of a presence in this land, I and I'm his vessel to see that his bidding is done.

As the door burst open Zharne and Prime are immediately attacked by tomb guardians. The bard then blasts one fo the guardians and the lich further into the room where Prime and Zharne rush forward, with Zharne striking a tomb guardian and the lich, leaving both dazed. Rocco kills of one of the tomb guardians with bone crushing blow. Vimak, Quan and the newcomers Sharpe and Zharne finish off another one. Prime makes his presence known by the lich, but not before the Vlastoes touches Zharne, sending painful necrotic energy through his body. The golem goes on a rampage, first hitting the dwarf, then punching its way through a group of allies leaving Zharne, Xeruzu, Primera and Quan dazed and confused. Only the dragonborn was able to deflect the golems brutal attacks. Vermetrax magic keeps one of the tomb guardians at bay.

Summary of Events
1. Prevented a flesh golem from killing the Weinfurter family. Body guard turned bad.
2. Dismantled the Crossed Sword and Skull Gang by killing Leader Hank the Tank
3. Prevented a possible encounter with a pack of wolves...for the moment
4. Alpha wolf presents orb of nature to Lerrick who gives it to Nementah.
5. Halleck finds orb of elements after party defeats band of ogres and a hill giant. He gives it to Raijin.
6. Defeated Bosch's dragonborn minions who tried to disrupt the ritual for removing the mark of Lerrick.
7. Mark is successfully removed from Lerrick by brother Buchta.
8. Encounter the great dragon Bosch for the first time. Dragon leaves but swears revenge.
9. Party returns Lerrick to mother in Daunton, but the father was not there as he was on an urgent task for brother Navio, something related to the shield.
10. Rocco tested for invoking a god. The party as well as other patrons at the tavern help defend Rocco from her wrath.
11. Party helps Druid retrieve artifact: The Branch of Life
12. Killed beholders that were feasting on druids
13. Destroyed gate portal to hell
14. Moved to room that contained a tomb with a shield impression exact like the shield Halleck possess. A wizard named Vlastoes tries in vain to open it. He unleashes undead minions to slay the heroes.
15. The spells prove too powerful for the wizard and he is killed, temporarily...as his body is consumed by some unknown power which strips the wizard of his flesh and takes his soul stone, thus converting the wizard into a lich.

Summary of Events
1. Prevented a flesh golem from killing the Weinfurter family. Body guard turned bad.
2. Dismantled the Crossed Sword and Skull Gang by killing Leader Hank the Tank
3. Prevented a possible encounter with a pack of wolves...for the moment
4. Alpha wolf presents orb of nature to Lerrick who gives it to Nementah.
5. Halleck finds orb of elements after party defeats band of ogres and a hill giant. He gives it to Raijin.
6. Defeated Bosch's dragonborn minions who tried to disrupt the ritual for removing the mark of Lerrick.
7. Mark is successfully removed from Lerrick by brother Buchta.
8. Encounter the great dragon Bosch for the first time. Dragon leaves but swears revenge.
9. Party returns Lerrick to mother in Daunton, but the father was not there as he was on an urgent task for brother Navio, something related to the shield.
10. Rocco tested for invoking a god. The party as well as other patrons at the tavern help defend Rocco from her wrath.
11. Party helps Druid retrieve artifact: The Branch of Life
12. Killed beholders that were feasting on druids
13. Destroyed gate portal to hell
14. Moved to room that contained a tomb with a shield impression exact like the shield Halleck possess. A wizard named Vlastoes tries in vain to open it. He unleashes undead minions to slay the heroes.
15. The spells prove too powerful for the wizard and he is killed, temporarily...as his body is consumed by some unknown power which strips the wizard of his flesh and takes his soul stone, thus converting the wizard into a lich.

OOC: This is just the out of turn actions. The lich provokes an OA from Prime since it used a ranged power in melee range and also made an attack that doesn't include Prime, so it triggers Combat Challenge. I included flanking bonuses in the rolls, which may not apply if the golem dazed Zharne, but I hit with both anyway even without the +2 bonus.

The interesting thing is, I can push the lich 3 squares, as I hit with a combat challenge attack. While this won't save Zharne from being hit, I can make it move adjacent to other characters. If Rocco hits the bone golem with his OA and stops it, I'll push the lich to K10, else I'll move it to L13. The interesting bit is that, since the combat challenge attack (and the OA too, for that matter) is an interrupt, the lich will be adjacent to either Rocco or Skaliss before the ray is actually fired, which means it may provoke another OA from one of them. I'll leave it to the DM to decide on that, but if you don't mind I'll ask about it in the discussion thread because it's something I've thever thougth on before.

I'll wait to post Prime's main actions until Rocco rolls his OA against the golem, as action depends on the golem's final position.

also if Rocco marks the bone golem after he makes his OA the rampage attack will miss Zharne

OOC: Rocco can make an OA on the golem as it has to move into his space to even attack, which means the golem will be Marked even if he fails (unless he doesn't want to mark for some reason), since fighters Mark on a hit or a miss.

This means you should be able to make an OA on the lich too, since you shouldn't be Dazed.
