Before "officially" becoming a diabetic I thought I had developed an allegy to alcohol. I would drink 4-6 beers and have the fuzzies for 2 days.
That was the sugar- not the alcohol.
Anymore than two beers and I begin to get the fuzzies. Very bad. Makes it cheap to go out however.
I wishe he would have saved that so we could see it. Would be awesome.megamania said:In a college level art class my father did an experiment. He painted a bunch of bananas over and over. Each new painting he drank more.
In the beginning he had beautiful still piece.
In the end the bananas were purple with lightning coming out of them.
Jesus_marley said:If you switch to hard alcohol - Vodka, rum, whiskey, etc. you don't get that problem apparantly. Beer is high in carbs so it knocks your blood sugars all out of whack. Hard alcohol isn't and doesn't.
Yeah...course we're talking about the 1940's.....grimwell said:I wishe he would have saved that so we could see it. Would be awesome.
I hope you are being facetious. It was the Crown Royal special reserve that she mixed with the Sprite, anyway it tasted kind of funny so we'll be trying it with 7-Up instead.Umbran said:Well, you I can see mixing then. You want to get your $$ worth from that Special Reserve Sprite...
