I'll probably be watching Stranger Things later tonight, though I doubt I'll binge it all, and then I have to watch the finale of Heated Rivalry.

Geez, this looks washed out and drab. I'll watch it, 'cause I'm a sucker for these tales, but what I wouldn't give for someone with a more colorful and ... well, gay, sensibility to have made this film.

We didn't grow up on the Rankin and Bass specials, my mom found the animation creepy or something, but my favourite special that I don't see a lot of love for is the Will Vinton Claymation Christmas Special. What more could one want, music, two bickering dinosaurs as hosts, and the California...

If this is just a movie about Doom baby-knapping, I'm out. I dunno, bringing back Steve Rogers (and baby) isn't really a draw anymore. Love Chris Evans, I just am not sure about this.

I liked it, but wanted more from the suspects, they felt more lightly sketched than the Disruptors or Thrombeys from the first two movies.

I like it. My concern is that the way damage works in 5e compared to Daggerheart ... there's more uncertainty in 5e given damage is unbounded and that in-combat healing is generally considered ineffective, which is not what happens in Daggerheart. I do like Daggerheart's death move system, so...

I have GMed a full session without touching the dice, but that was because no combat occurred. It was still a tense, fun session, as the party was escaping to the woods to dodge a bounty hunter and his cadre of trained animals. But this is why I'm not looking to modify rules to go completely...

I'm playing a Sorcerer in my first 5e24 campaign. Went Wild Magic. Had fun in my first session at level 3.

I think over-emphasizing balance, especially on an encounter-by-encounter basis is a mistake. I'm less interested these days in a balanced encounter, I just want it to be exciting or at least interesting. Did an early crit, a splashy power, or a clever tactic make an encounter less challenging...

Heh. Oh, any company that can give me: 1. The reactivity and depth of BG3 2. The banter and fun companions of a Mass Effect or Dragon Age 3. A world I really want to just enjoy exploring, like Assassin's Creed Odyssey 4. Customizable as Skyrim. 5. Actually give me this and not stuck in...
