My general take is that it depends on how the system uses them. They're a tool, and I'm more interested in how that tool is used in the context of a game system than just it in the abstract.
That said ... I'm really enjoying Hope and Fear in Daggerheart. It is satisfying to generate it, fun to...
That's fair, but tbh, that makes the map feel weirder to me, like Federation space should look more fragmented. Like, Bajor used to be on the periphery of the Federation, so I'd almost expect it to be a bit of an island away from the rest.
That's me too. It's not what I want, but I'm willing to be proven wrong, and ... I like Kyle Chandler, despite not really watching Friday Night Lights or most of his stuff, lol. And the trailer sold me on this Hal and John vibe, so I'm intrigued
This looks ... interesting and yet not quite what I want from the Green Lanterns. I want more cosmic, spacey stuff, grounded Lanterns seems like a round peg and a square hole.
Got in a workout after a few weeks away. February was a rough month, fighting illnesses and ... life drama, so while I felt annoyed that I hadn't been, it felt good to just get in even a light workout, didn't want to overdo it.
Has anyone tried running Colossi from the Colossus of the Drylands Campaign Frame? I'm gearing up for a short 3-shot campaign, and the plan is to run one as the final boss battle, curious what people have found out about designing or running them.
I was toying with how to ... phase or limit...
I stopped reading Star Wars fiction when Jacen Solo fell to the dark side.
I've heard good things about some comics runs. Doctor Aphra, some High Republic stuff ... haven't read it myself though so this is second hand.
Any of the Guards series rate highly with me. The one I've reread the most is Feet of Clay which I do enjoy, but that's the one I own, so it has that over the others.
