That's fair, but tbh, that makes the map feel weirder to me, like Federation space should look more fragmented. Like, Bajor used to be on the periphery of the Federation, so I'd almost expect it to be a bit of an island away from the rest.

Any of the Guards series rate highly with me. The one I've reread the most is Feet of Clay which I do enjoy, but that's the one I own, so it has that over the others.
