D&D 5E Two characters combining their carrying capacity for dimension door

Basically, what the thread title says. A group is in a combat that they are losing badly and they want to disengage. There's a dead fighter who is too heavy for any single character to carry (low str scores all around...). One character is capable of casting dimension door and thus could teleport herself and another ally. Would you allow them to "combine" their carrying capacity for teleporting the dead fighter with them?

Sure, the dead PC isn't a "creature" any more, but an object -- a dead body. Since the spell is V only component, the caster can even use both hands when helping carry the dead body.

Keep in mind also the weight you can "drag" is double your carry capacity, so if the caster is dragging the dead body, they might be able to move the body by themselves depending on the weight.

Absolutely. It's a reasonable interpretation of RAW, I don't see any way to abuse it, and it's already hard enough to get players to realize that they're losing a fight and should bail. When they do achieve that moment of enlightenment, the last thing I want to do is present obstacles.
