Saw this link today, and it made me think of Hal...

Then I thought to myself, what holidays do you have in YOUR game worlds that might be similarly oddball? I could tell you about playing in one campaign world where September 24th was celebrated as "Beat with a Stick" day - the locals whacked each other with sticks to show their affection (yes, our GM was a bit twisted). I know there are historical cultures with similar "silly" displays.
We also had "Quakefest" night with one of my gaming groups, where instead of playing RPGs, every other blue moon (literally - since a blue moon is the second full/new moon - can't remember which - in a month) we played Quake. A lot. As in, last person not asleep wins. Not "in game" I suppose, but also silly.
So how 'bout it... in honor of Hal, what silly holidays does YOUR campaign (or gaming group) celebrate?
