(Who am I kidding, when we've adopted herding mixes, which I prefer, if one of them had been all or part border collie I wouldn't have hesitated. I mean, one of the current two is a Aussie Cattle Dog/GSD mix, and they can't be any worse than her...)

We've had dogs that did that; the current one that does so is 64 pounds. The prior one that did it was 90.

Absolutely! Max the healer is super shy but fun, Milo Ren the black and tan corgi is super friendly and fun and Stella Rey the mearle corgi is aloof as F.

I thought that one looked like a heeler. Our girl Tamara is a GSD/heeler mix, so I watch a certain amount of videos with them (mind you, she looks more like a GSD with particularly pointy ears than a heeler, but that's a quirk of her genetics, since she's about two-thirds heeler).

I bet that sometimes leads to a loud house--sheps can be loud enough (all my dogs except for the Malinois have been GSD mixes) and mixing in The Drama That Is Husky--well.
