Seven seconds in. "Money. Thirst for power." Not the worst dub ever, but a bit off and note how it occurs only while Madge is facing away from the camera so you can't see the lip flaps.

These commercials were unintentionally creepy, but tame.

The reboot is better.

I remember an urban myth about how the original version of that made the "screeching brakes" gag much more explicit, with crash sounds and screaming and sirens. Nothing to it AFAIK, but I'm sure some editing would fix that easily enough.

Is there an adjective for describing a case where a person totally missed they were hearing sarcasm and hyperbole?

I would also say oblivious, however, if this was in text, rather than spoken, then most people can be at least somewhat forgiven for missing such nuance. Text is a terrible way to convey sarcasm, and hyperbole can be considered someone's actual opinion, on most internet based services.
