Terrible sequels

What’s the worst movie sequel of all time?

• preceding movies in the series had to be good
• no Star Wars as that will just take over the thread

To me the trick is you can't just have a sequel that's "terrible", its too easy. But it must follow a movie that was stupendous, aka the higher the rise the greater the fall.

For example Highlander 2 is a god awful movie, but on the same token highlander one is a good movie, but not a great one. So I don't think it be the worst sequel of all time.

I dont think 3 was a good movie, though I do marvel at its script. It's a really interesting story about the colony. I have no idea how it was sold as a good idea for a film in the Alien franchise.
