Well, when you roll a die, your attention is probably on the die anyway.

The distraction will come from folks fiddling with them between rolls...

As they're so expenisve, I'd be using them for real improtant rolls. You often get those oooh is he going to Save vs Death, or I really need to hit, or when DM is rolling vs a PC on almost no HP. Not for every roll use for me, the 'danger dice'

Pretty, but not for anything more than a novelty, brought out and show then put away. I'd rather the focus be on the game rather than the shiny. They are shiny, though.
