[OA] Ancestral Vengence Spell and Undead

First Post
This came up in a game this weekend. the spell Ancestral Vengence does 3d6 (partial save with Fort) and does 6d6 against Undead. But the undead creature type stats they don't need to make Fort saves. Did this get settled in the errata or something? Ican't get the WotC site to work soI'm asking here.

Undead don't make fort saves for things like strenous activitiy, poison, etc.

For spells, they do. That's why, if you look on their entry in the DMG, they have a Fort save listing.

Undead are not immune to _all_ effects requiring Fort saves. If a spell has such a save, it can still affect undead if it has the ability to affect objects; an example is disintegrate.

It seems reasonable to assume that undead can be affected by spells with Fort saves, as long as the spell specifically says it affects them.
