I'm adding the preliminary schedule and the listing of players and DMs. This list will have the most up-to-date information and I will coordinate it with the stores.

I would be interested in attending. I live near the Woodbridge Game Parlor and I visit that store almost every week. I don't know if I could act as GM or not. It would depend upon the lead time, as I perfer to not run things completely cold.

Fantastic, welcome to the forums. The preparation time will only be about 2 weeks prior. I'll put you on the players side for right now unless you let me know that you're really interested in DMing.

If you know anyone in the area that might be interested let them know about this thread.

As we get closer to the date I'll start assigning the DMs to specific tables and I'll do the same with players.

If my schedule allows me to attend (I don't have anything that would conflict at the moment) then I would certainly be willing and able to DM. My current group is in the middle of long-running Buffy and D&D 3.5 games, so any chance to play with the new rules will make me very happy. I'd also appreciate the opportunity to network with other NoVa players, since I'm always interested in expanding my circle of gaming friends.

Now to find my dice and dust them off after 4 years of neglected abuse locked in a drawer. (And if anyone calls the Dice-Abuse-Hotline to report me, I shall deny everything!)

Edit: Second question by the line about "everything needed to play is included" I'm making a presumption that we'll have some sort of pregen characters?

Hey, nobody is going to be making fun of anyone. The whole purpose is to have a fantastic time when the rules will have come out only the day before. The DMs will have some more information but the full rules will be released on the 6th.

The timing will depend on how many people we have at each location. Both locations are open from 10 AM to 10 PM. This gives us some flexibility on time. Right now it looks like we will have a 10:30AM - 3:30PM game and a 4:30PM -9:30PM game. This is still preliminary and depends on actual attendance.

We do want to pack both locations so pass the information along to any gamers you know.

Since we will have two slots I'm planning on having more than one adventure for that day. Depending on what becomes available the plan is to have the following 3 adventures ready for play.
