Edit: The attack on Derendil by the quippers did not have advantage. But it was still a hit. Attacks by creatures without a swim speed in water have disadvantage (I was thinking it was the other way around)
Ok, sorry for what a durn mess this post is. Like Aesh, I forgot about the second set of NPCs, so I made these rolls earlier today, thinking I was up...meaning I had to roll Bless separately this evening.
Okay. Bless will not help him in this case, because that is an ability check, (attack rolls and saves only for bless) hopefully, his strength will be enough. I will proceed with the attack, grimacing at the amount of blood in the water.
