Does Animal companions increase in size when gaining Hit Dice from being a Companion?

Seems kinda strong early on with a Large Wolf at lvl 3-4-5... etc.

the phb and srd says that advanced according to usual creature advancement from gainning more hit dice, higher attack bonus, more life, better saves. But it doesn't mention Any increase in Size?

The Companion gets what's listed. It doesn't mention size increases; the size increases don't apply.

The Advancement entry is really for a DM to create bigger monsters, not for monsters to 'level up'. It's not saying a wolf who gains 4-6 HD is Large; it's saying a Large wolf has 4-6 hit dice.
