Does a dead zombie count as a humanoid?

Undead are not Humanoids.

As a DM, I would rule that they count as Undead and not Humanoid. Otherwise, Hold Person would work on them.

I mean, once a zombie is dead, it just goes back to being a corpse, which is what it was before becoming a zombie...

So by that logic... INFINITE RECYCLABILITY!!!

I mean once they are defeated and 0 hp. But I can see calling them zombie corpses and not humanoid

Now there's the gloriously petty punishment. The gods hire some people to follow you around an mock you for something they did to you.

Have them slap him at random intervals and we're in business.
