Here is Dr. Lovegrove, back from the war and "healed." He has fallen in with a gentlewoman occult investigator, Lady Arabella "Belle" Covenhart, trying to make use of his new found spiritual abilities (His Dark Gift); but his personal life is fraught. He throws himself into his work with Belle after his relationship with his boyfriend Reggie immolates. A year later, while in pursuit of a supernatural killer, Lady Covenhart will disappear in the fog of the city never to be heard from again.

Phineas believing he is a danger anyone close to him, spirals until he meets an unlikely friend, Pantilia Ton, a Firbolg chef (played by one of my friends). Pantilia's relentless curiosity and joy for life brings Phineas out of his dark depression and he tries to honor Belle's legacy and continue her work. His personal life is still a mess.

Pictured here is the spirit board that Phineas crafted to help him with his work with spirits haunting the material plane. It grounds him and helps prevent him from being overwhelmed or possessed by the restless dead.

Maybe try specific types of rapier or describe it in detail? Even like, a century and nation, like 1600’s French small sword, 1500’s Spanish Espada, or less common but visually related swords like an estoc.

I have not had much luck being more specific. As @Parmandur mentioned above, it really struggles with weapon specifics.

I should note that these are all "D&D elves with charcoal skin, white hair, and purple/violet eyes". Whenever I specify "drow", it tends to make their clothing NSFW (which I suppose should come as no surprise).

I tried an experiment. The image in my previous post (Dr. Lovegrove's Occult Investigator Phase) was awesome, but it was done in a series of dialogues with GPT-4 to get there. What would happen if I took the raw prompt and started from scratch... Well it didn't come out like I expected...

Example:

Each and everyone of them were in modern dress. I asked it to age him a little... um, that went well...

Example 2:

I went back a step and tried just changing the clothes to Edwardian middle class doctor and occult investigator...

Example 3:

It seems that in GPT-4 it remembers the previous chats and incorporates elements of it in the future iterations, but that is not reflected in the "Generated Prompt" directly attached to the image. So, if you ask me what prompt got me there, well what I give you isn't the whole story. That would explain why when pukunui tried to replicate my art nouveau/deco Queen of Air & Darkness image, it didn't work. I had to manual adjust it until it worked because it was missing the context of the dialog I had with GPT-4.

Conclusion: Asking me for a generated prompt is not going to get you to the images I am creating in GPT-4 if there was any iteration involved. The one advantage of the manual creation of prompts in Bing is that, "what you see is what you get" with those prompts. This is going to require some more testing in GPT-4 and transferring GPT-4 iterated prompts to Bing to test this further.

This is DALL-E 3's idea of a basket hilt... you are not going to get the sword you want unless it is a happy accident. The AI has no understanding of sword terminology and asking to to make one it going end in tears...

I imagine the training set has lots of pictures of cats and popes, but not as many pictures of swords, and the sword images may not have as much relevant metadata specifying things like whether or not it has a basket hilt or if it's an Oakeshott Type XII versus XIIa.

Yeah, I think one of the main intended audiences here is media content creators, and cats and Pope's are probably more on the developers radar as points iof interest than the nuance of historical weaponry.
