The only thing that would excite me about a Castle Greyhawk book would be if they did a large coffee-table books with a history of the setting, articles by various members of the old guard who played in Gary's games and some articles by more recent designers, scans of Gary's original notes, followed by a 5e-compatible version. But this would be a massive and expensive book. I'm not sure it would be profitable enough. Goodman Games has been doing well with the Reincarnated series, but I suspect those are not bringing in the profits that WotC would need to print it themselves.

I'm less interested in the adventure/setting itself as something to run and more interested in it as a piece of history. As for actually playing it? I doubt it would have aged well. It would likely be just another gonzo megadungeon.
I think Goodman would be the best people to handle it, as they'd give it the OAR treatment and assemble every surviving bit about the dungeon into something useable, as well as creating the definitive historical document.

But since Gail is apparently still fighting Luke in court over EGG's will, I imagine anything like that is a long way away, since clear rights to Castle Greyhawk won't be known any time soon.

Or skip it and have Goodman give the OAR treatment to Blackmoor. Skips the legal question and is an even older vintage.

Any idea about the music sheet as possible clue? Maybe some musical disk.

Any partnership with any food product? snacks, for example.
The music sheet might be a subtle nod to the Concordant Domain of the Outlands, since the word Concordant can mean “music in harmony”. And with Sigil being at the plane’s center and the gate towns also being on this plane as well, I just figured that was the reference they were going with.

She can't stop WotC from doing a new treatment based on TSR/WotC material, however.

I don't know that anyone has such fond memories of Castle Greyhawk, Ruins of Greyhawk, or Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk to make them worth revisiting. Likewise, I don't know that there are any people they're likely to work with who would get the Greyhawk grognards fired up.

I can see them doing a campaign setting update with a small dungeon adventure, though.
