Bluff and then Hide (and then Search)

The Bluff skill states that if a successful Bluff check is made as a diversion, then a Hide check can be made to Hide. Is this Hide made as a free action?

For example, two hasted mortal foes are standing adjacent to each other. The battle has turned and the Rogue uses his partial action to move. He then uses his remaining standard action to move further and then Bluff/Hide. He gets away because he is 60-ft. away (DC +6 to Spot vs. Hide) after the Sense Motive was unsuccessful.

As a follow-up, his hasted opponent moves to the location that he last saw the Rogue. He uses either a partial run (if that is legal) otherwise he moves 30-ft. and then makes a full-round action to Spot the Rogue. Does the Rogue get another Hide check or does he use his previous result? Is this even done right?

Thanks.

And I just learned that to do this, an AoO would be drawn... even though James Wyatt makes it seem like you can double move and Bluff/Hide non-hasted in Speaker of Dreams.

My group has decided that the initial Bluff is a standard action and, if successful, the Hide is done immediately as a free action.
