We've had dancing celebs, skating celebs, and The Celebrity Mole. Now it's racing celebs.

A geriatric Kirk -- or Denny "I have Mad Cow" Crane -- behind the wheel of a NASCAR. This spells trouble.

I don't think it'll be all that terrible... Paul Newman was racing right up into his seventies, as was Don Garlits. Other racers have raced well into their 50s before retiring... AJ Foyt raced until he was 58. Don Prudhomme raced top fuel dragsters until he was 53. Al Unser Sr. retired at 55.

Of course, those people were all professional racers, rather than celebrities who decided to take up racing for... publicity, or whatever.

Honestly, I bet a lot of these celebrities already own cars that can go faster than the ones on the show (150 mph or so). So it's not that big a deal.
