The first thing that comes to mind when I hear "Abomination Vault Video Game" is Troika's adaptation of "The Temple of Elemental Evil".

Yeah I can't say I'm interested in a hack n slash arpg. Give me a turn based crpg with the 2e rules.
Hopefully the other game is closer to your liking. An action RPG fits a dungeon crawl pretty well so I can see why they went this route for Abomination Vaults.

Seeing as how the trailer only has the Steam logo I'm guessing it's PC first then they'll port it to consoles eventually.

Well, with Diablo 4 being online only, if this is as good as D2 or D3, this could be the Diablo killer for me as long as it can be played SP Offline.
