Oh sure. The game developers have no way of knowing what you're doing with your mods, so it makes sense to turn off the things that need a level playing ground to be fairly judged. It just means I'll have to play again someday without any mods if I want to get more achievements etc.
Is that snow on the ground? Where in the game is there snow?
As to STR 60, I’m not aiming quite that high. But I’m still planning on hitting the drugs hard this playthrough, for the fun of it. ’Roided up drug fiend is not my usual type of char in any game
Or you get one of the mods that enables achievements
as for the winter in the screenshot It's a mod called "Winter redone" I also had to a mod that fixed some related issues to it.
The game doesn't really do radiation effects on companions, but flavour-wise it may feel better to take Valentine. Or you could find a spare set of power armour for Piper if you can afford the cores - I think you can direct companions to enter a power armour suit.
I used power armor for me and nothing for Nick or Dogmeat. We were fine.
I will play on Normal as usual, so I trust I'll do ok with just gear boni and a good stock of the plain drugs for most fights. But then again, towards the end of any game one can never be TOO op, right.
