    Video Games You Wish Existed

I want an old Grand Theft Auto style "go around the city causing mayhem," except your characters are a roster of escaped zoo animals. The objective would be to find a way to get back to your native habitats - by slipping onto a boat or a truck or something - or finding a mate and becoming an...

    ZEITGEIST Cypherblade's Zeitgeist campaign

There's no I in TEAM, and there's no A in CONSTBULARY. Okay, there's one.

Why aren't megacorps as big a part of Steampunk as they are of Cyberpunk?

A fair bit of the steampunk I've seen has a more romantic view of exploration, discovery, invention. New creations and new horizons are wondrous things, which can be used to push back against whatever nefarious goals the villains have.

Why aren't megacorps as big a part of Steampunk as they are of Cyberpunk?

When I directed the ZEITGEIST adventure path, I thought of it primarily as 'industrial revolution fantasy,' but it was easier to shorthand that in marketing to 'steampunk.' That said, the driving arc of the campaign is about resisting those who want their ideology to be the only one with power...

    D&D 5E (2024) No 5.5 AP Yet?

I should write some adventures and sit on them until 6e comes out, so I can adapt them as an early release.

    Predator: Badlands | Official Trailer

I took my brother to see it back in November. We thought it was great as a sci-fi action movie. Reminds me a fair bit of the original Aliens vs Predator comic book.

    Battletech RPG

Barbarian (Path of the Berserker, Path of the Wild Heart) Fighter (Banneret, Battle Master, Champion) Monk (Warrior of the Open Hand) Ranger (Beastmaster) – you can choose to have your ‘beast’ be a robot. Rogue (Assassin, Thief) And I just saw the new Artificer, which would probably also work...

    Battletech RPG

I am running a battleTech campaign using the battletech rules for Mech combat, and using a modified D&D 5th edition for the role-playing side. If anyone is interested in seeing my rule book, I could share a Google Drive link.

    Battletech Public Playtest Thread

I did a playtest with the new aerospace battlefield support rules last night. Has anyone else tried them. I like that they make it easy to introduce aeros to mech combat, certainly compared to the full Total Warfare ruleset. But while this system is playable and fine, my friend and I thought...

    ZEITGEIST Cypherblade's Zeitgeist campaign

Y'know, I'm not sure any other group I've read about actually tried going down the canal with medallions this early in the campaign. Thanks for the write-up.

    ZEITGEIST Tizbiz Zeitgeist Campaign

First of her name. Aww, cute. I am quite excited to see how this plays out. Of all the iterations of ZEITGEIST I've read, Gabriel is the PC with, like, the biggest grievance against the Clergy.

ZEITGEIST The Flint Irregulars, whose portraits you may have seen

That's neat. Are you still playing once a year for like a week? Was the most recent session in October?

    Scotland trip

If you make it to Skye, way on the north western edge there's Castle MacLeod. It has a very nice garden. Probably not worth driving all the way there just for that. But we stayed with a very nice lady who lived at the Northwest point of Skye, and that was an attraction that was relatively close.
