Wildwood Red in Tooth and Claw [IC]

Alan looks to Tur, and back to the barrel. "Hmm... we could kill it now, but we should probably get back to the Goblins. Once we've dealt with them, we can afford to spend time looting the place. For now, we should move on." Alan moves toward the door.

di Senzio's Tournement: Merchant Avenue [El Jefe judging]

Thamian nods. "So, we need to speak with Reynold, first? Fair enough..." I'm approved, yeah. Note to self; update signature. http://www.enworld.org/showpost.php?p=2918355&postcount=261

    Sage Job

Actually, Rogues can't meet the prerequisites until 5th level... they only have Knowledge (Local) as a class skill. Therefore, they have to take their second knowledge as cross-class... and thus, they won't have 4 ranks in a second knowledge until 5th level, at least. Not to mention that the...

    Sage Job

No, it shouldn't, both practically and officially. Practically, those who live by selling their mind, rather then their labor, have always made more money off it... it takes a lot of education to be able to do this, but the payoff is there. Officially, the DMG says that Sages get 2+ Gp per...

    Sage Job

    Just to clarify... you're saying 1/4 Primary + 1/8 Secondary +1 Synergy? BEcause... that's pretty bad. For reference... 2 Skills Maxed L1: 1.5 (4 in 2 knowledges, 1+.5) L5: 4 (8 in 2 knowledges, 2+1+1) L9: 5.5 (12 in 2 knowledges, 3+1.5+1) 2 Skills Maxed, 1 extra skill track L1: 1.5 (4 in...

    Rage feats

The new ones are actually really cool...

    Sage Job

I do, too, actually... I think it fits well against the other jobs... the only thing is the high upward potential as opposed to the other jobs, which is what RA's complaining about.

    Sage Job

Yeah, I guess you're right... perhaps half ranks, rounded down?

Zephos, God of the Dead, Shepherds

That works, then... it's game mechanically identical to St. Cuthbert.

    Sage Job

It'd have to be balanced with more craft points... probably the same as a crafter, 1 per rank per week. Incidentally, I was looking up the rules for spell research with craft points, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

    Sage Job

Hmm... ok, then. Perhaps a different method... say, 2.5 + (1/4 skill modifier for one Knowledge skill), and allow synergy bonuses from other Knowledges?

    Sage Job

Among the PC classes, only a Bard could do that... and Bards need their ranks in other skills.

Azwan, God of War and Nobility

Eh, I'll take your word for it... I'm on enough forums as is, I don't need to add any more!

Azwan, God of War and Nobility

Only an incredibly evil and controlling religion? I could name a few major RL religions that have done so... and I doubt you'd go so far as to name them 'incredibly evil and controlling'.

    Sage Job

Well, practically speaking, it is a higher-skilled job... the game equivalent of university as opposed to trade school. Here's the incentive for NPCs to not become sages. A level 1 Expert can take 4 ranks in one Craft skill, and make 3.5 - 4 Gp per week (depending on their Int score)...
