My wife and kid are doing an alpine slide. I decided I don’t like heights so why pay to be uncomfortable?

Rather why not walk off and have an oatmeal stout at some place overlooking the river?

It was hazy with not much bitterness at all. Maybe a very distant reminder of something like the banana flavor in some hefes. My usuals are stouts and porters and then some hefes... so this isn't in my wheel house for describing. I would not have guessed it was a lager.

I can relate to the banana flavor
In some beer. I am having a lovely coors light with a an industrial tin and banana Flavor with some corn thrown in

I too like darker beers when I am having better stuff! That is not now, clearly

They're hard to find in stores, but a lot of Greek restaurants I've been to have carried them. Little Donkey from Santorini is great, too.

Drinking my Carlsberg here in NZ sigh.

Greek lager sounds good. Some of thise eastern Europe dark and amber layers are nice for macro beers.
