Wrong edition.Generic powerful caster, too clean, too shiny, give me a bit more grit and realism, not this superhero posing. Dr Strange meets Wakanda

It specifically reminds me of some Strixhaven art, with the floating magic symbols.Heh looks like a mtg card to me. Nicely done though.
I know, just wish it weren’t, at least not to this degree…Wrong edition.
yep, reminded me of MtG as well. Technically competent, no doubt, just too generic for me to care much for it. I liked the Fighter art betterHeh looks like a mtg card to me. Nicely done though.
Same, this is pretty but I'm tired of heroes in context-free generically cool poses. I miss the old school art that more often than not tended to tell a story. It's been this way since 3rd edition and while it's gorgeous, it lacks soul.yep, reminded me of MtG as well. Technically competent, no doubt, just too generic for me to care much for it. What spell will she be casting? It looks so... anime-style.
If only. There’s nothing anime about it. Unless you stretch the definition to include glowing sigils in the air as “anime art.” Which is not exclusive to anime. Dr Strange has it.It seems that anime-fantasy style art is here to stay…
