Courtesy of figures.com at the GAMA trade show this weekend, these slides from the Paizo panel show off some gorgeous spaceship art from the Vesk (lizard people), the Shirren (insect people), and the Pactworld Alliance . Someone asked me the other day whether there would be a space hex grid battle map from Paizo, too -- the slide below answers that one with a definitive yes!
"Iconics" (pregenerated characters used in art and examples throughout a rulebook) are a common feature of tabletop RPGs. Starfinder, of course, is no exception; indeed, this weekend Paizo revealed a few shots of its Iconics for the upcoming Starfinder game. Some of them have been seen on standees already, but there's more here! Take a look! This photos come from the Paizo panel at GAMA, courtesy of figures.com.

RPG Crowdfunding News 042: Esper Genesis. The Umerican Survival Guide, Halfsies Dice, Cthulhu Mythos

Welcome back to our weekly look at tabletop roleplaying game, and accessories, crowdfunding roundup! Each week we’ll be looking at a few campaigns currently running that have caught our eye as well as occasionally speaking to some of the creators about their campaigns, or looking at some of the ‘behind the scenes’ business aspects of putting together, launching, operating and then delivering a crowdfunded project. If you have anything you’d like us to cover, or questions about anything we talk about, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or contact me directly.
Coming soon to Kickstarter is a 70-page full-colour softcover book detailing 7 full classes for 5th Edition. These seven classes originally appeared in EN5ider, the 5th Edition patreon. Over time, they have been revised and updated after plenty of feedback from the community, and now they're ready to be presented as a full-colour softcover book! Each is a full class, along with archetypes; plus the collection includes a selection of supporting feats, spells, items, backgrounds, and monsters to help make the most from them. Take a look at the contents and introduction to the book!

A few days ago, ICv2 released its latest set of quarterly figures for for hobby channel sales of tabletop roleplaying games. As always, these figures are based on interviews with retailers, distributors, and manufacturers. The latest figures are for Fall 2016. No big surprises - the top four didn't change, while #5 switched from Green Ronin's Fantasy/Dragon Age to Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition. The hobby game market as a whole grew yet again in 2016, by about 10%, with the hobby being regarded as "now-mainstream" (that's hobby games as a whole - board, card, miniature, dice, and roleplaying games).
