THE Spiderman show is Spiderman: The Animated Series (1994 -1998)

I've seen the older series, and it was also good, I saw the Spectacular Spiderman and it was also fun...but this one...this one IS the Spiderman series that is Spiderman.

This ad doesn't make me feel like it will replace the animated series (also, at that time was the X-men Cartoon, which was also awesome).

Biggest problems I had with those cartoons will not be replicated with this one though. This one will probably be on streaming, while the other two tended to be broadcast while I was still at work, which made it a little hard to watch.

Let’s see how it goes. My personal high water mark for Spidey animated shows is Spectacular, which was just chef’s kiss perfect. I don’t expect that, but this is an interesting take. Man, Norman Osborn is an interesting villain once he’s not tied down by his ridiculously long comics history (I mostly mean Thunderbolts, Dark Reign, and whatever that creepy nonsense by JMS with Gwen was).

I suspect the number of young people watching broadcast or cable TV in 2025 is probably a lot lower than the public thinks.
