Your Advice, Are White Dragons especially vulnerable to fire?

Ok, our party is about to encounter 5 white dragons of varying levels of maturity. White dragons are "ice" dragons, so my question is, are they vulnerable to fire attacks more than another type of energy?

That isn't easy to spot, tho.

WHITE DRAGON
Dragon (Cold)

Cold Subtype: A creature with the cold subtype has immunity to cold. It has vulnerability to fire, which means it takes half again as much (+50%) damage as normal from fire, regardless of whether a saving throw is allowed, or if the save is a success or failure.

You lucky lucky people you!

This is kind of a soap-boxish answer, but I think it is your characters that should be trying to find answers to those kinds of questions. If your characters don’t find the answers, than play accordingly. Also, while the generic creatures do have that quality, the ones you are up against may be slightly different- always a DM’s prerogative. So, find out as much as you can about them IN GAME is my advice. Which is well intentioned, not just soap-boxish- if you go in all tooled up for generic creatures, you could really get burned, so to speak...

Cheers

Thanks guys. We had already discussed how we were going to attack it in game. We just couldn't find the answers in the rules.

or if they're white dragons with access to a few buckets of red paint...

"I am the great Fire Dragon of the Ice Cave! Grrrr!"
