I just noticed that a Cheetah has a move of 50 but a Light Horse has one of sixty. That makes no sense...

Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense given the cheetah's normal hunting method. Makes for a nice ability, too - I must try a cheetah encounter starting at 250 feet sometime.

Knowing a little something-something about real world animals, I'd give the cheetah the Dash feat as a bonus (change the direction of a charge up to 90 degrees without losing momentum).

Another victim of legendary animal facts . There are a lot of myths about mambas (and other snakes). They're fast, but not super fast. Slithering snakes tend to look like they are moving faster than they really are.

Unless, of course, you are talking about Black Mamba from Kill Bill. She's wicked fast, especially on a motorcycle.

Did you know human reflexes are faster than a snakes? True (as far as I know), though that does NOT mean you can wait for them to strike and then avoid the hit.
