What sounds can you make with Ghost Sound?

I'm making a character for an upcoming game, and I want him to have a magic item that lets him use Ghost Sound more or less at will. (Mostly for flatulent pranks! :))

Other than toots, what kind of noises can you make with Ghost Sound? Can it make music? Specific animal noises (barks, meows, bridcalls, etc)? Intelligible speech?

Birds chirping, crickets, marching, music, rats running & squeaking, roaring, running, shouting, singing, talking, trees falling over, walking... Pretty much anything, within the volume levels described in the spell listing (PHB:235).

Ghot sounds cannot produce music or speech. But it can make sounds similar to that produced by a musical instrument, or muffled sounds that resemble some people discussing but that are totally inintelligible if you listen to them carefully. True music and intelligible speech requires higher level spells.

The volume level description is a bit iffy, I understand the difficulty in trying to portray an exact noise level, but there must be a better way than 'the sound of a number of humans'. Oh well.

I just realised ive been neglecting this spell, I think its about time my sorcerer trys it out. What reaction would someone have to their bum burping? Or think about the duration, (its a few rounds isnt it?) how long could you make someone suposedly fart. hehe :p . The infinite childish posibilitys of the arcane, a 100+ year old should realy be beyond these kind of pranks. :)

I pretty much have let it make any sound (within sound levels) except for understandable speech. But this is rarely used in my experience.

I've used Audible Glamor effectively to create the sound of a Jack Russel terrier barking and carrying on. Worked great as a distraction to get me out of a bugbear's lair!

frothing and falling, coughing and calling, screaming and bawling, walling and stalling, brawling and mauling, falling and hauling, trawling and squalling, and zalling

Oi. There's a rogue/wizard in my current campaign with this spell, and for the same reason. What is it about Ghost Sound that causes a perfectly sensible spellcaster to degenerate into a 3 year old child. :p
