D&D General What magic potion do you dump into the local water supply?

Like it says in the opening header, you have enough magic potions to dump into the local water supply to affect an entire village,

which potion, why and how does it become a plot point?

I was thinking comprehend languages, but thought if everyone in the village just speaks common all day it would not do anything. So, now I'm thinking of comprehend animals. It would be cool for everyone to suddenly talk to the dog or horse to figure out what is going on. It might get work done faster, or just cause a Dr Doolittle stir.

Love potion number 9 :)

Depends on how much chaos one wants to cause. Want to rob the temple/shrine of some major artifact and not leave a clear record of what happened. Then potions of sleep, confusion or something that incapacitated or interferes with memory would be suitable.
Want the villages to cooperate or not interfere then mind control.

Potion of invisibility.

Then hire a Bard to advertise it as a mysterious ghost town.

"overnight, every in the town just vanished. Though if you listen carefully, they say you can still hear the sounds of their voices..."
