Vin Diesel (or however you spell his name) from the movie XXX, is a big D&D player. Anyone else remember that newspaper article where he went into a bookstore and got a couple hundred bucks worth of D&D stuff?

Anyone famous that has come out of West Point in the last 20 years has played DND.

Think I remember reading in a slashdor article that Alton Brown plays.

Will Wheaton deffinately plays.

Think I remember an article about Edward Furlong and that he plays DND.

All I really remember off the top of my head.

I'd actually be surprised if Russel Crowe doesn't play RPG's, maybe not DND itself but I can deffinately see him playing RPG's, and not computer RPG's either.

I'd guess that some of the dorky celebs play. But not somebody like George Clooney, Russel Crowe, or Liz Hurley.

Kind of a harsh rationalization there. Besides, geek is sheik. =o) Anyways I wouldn't be surpised with the amount of celebs that probably actually do play RPG's of some kind and don't fit the classical interpitation of the work "geek".

I also think Brendan Frasier plays.

Naw, celebs live fantasy lives, they don't need any power fantasies. They have enough hangers-on that give them that every day.

Steven Spielberg.

I recall reading an interview where he said that he and the young actors on the cast of E.T. played D&D almost daily during filming.

I always enjoyed the D&D scene in that movie! The portable hole is immortal!
