Differs per tavern. Most serve some basic food and drinks: bread, soup, cheese, ham, milk, liquor.

An inn will serve all of the above usually, plus rent rooms too, and they may serve dinner in the evening.

In my pirate campaign, many drinks have funny names, or are named after well known pirates. They also serve mixed drinks, and a drink that can be deadly.

Any stand out funny names. Do tell more about that drink

Kturgian Mouthwash - The nation of Kturgia isn't particularly well loved, so the most foul drink is named after them. Pirate grog, rum and vinegar. It is the type of drink you order to play a prank on a friend.

The bend over Shirley - The ingredients include two cherries, along with Kooghan Vodka and grenadine.

The fancy Marceau - A mixed drink named after a local marquis who is considered a bit of a snob, so the ingredients are a mix of two fancy foreign wines: Nimaehan and Valensian.

The Scurvy Scarlet - Named after a female pirate who is rumoured to have some sort of venereal desease. Likewise, the ingredients include wine mixed with pirate grog.

The Devil's Handshake - This is the deadly drink. A mixed drink of whiskey, tequila, dark rum, limejuice and a secret ingredient. Anyone who drinks it must make a constitution save or die.

Other honorable mentions:

The Fog Cutter, The Bat Bite, Anchor's Away, The Cussing Parrot, and Dances with Wenches.

As per the food, drink, and lodging table, pretty much any tavern will have ale by the mug or gallon, common wine by the pitcher, fine wine by the bottle, meat by the chunk, cheese by the hunk, and bread by the loaf. Most inns and taverns will also have a quality rating corresponding to one of the lifestyles, with meals and/or rooms priced according to the quality of the establishment. Usually, there is more than one quality option available - every inn has its nice rooms and its cheap rooms. But nowhere has all options available- the “cheap rooms” at a wealthy or aristocratic tavern are probably at least comfortable, and the “good food” at a squalid dive is probably still a poor meal.

In addition to this, there are exceptions (there’s no ale in Barovia for example, it’s wine or nothing), and specialties (you’ve got to try this elven stuff! I think they make it out of flowers or something.)

For most taverns, it's the stuff on the Food, Drink, and Lodging table just with regional or regional choices.

Except for the dwarves. Food clans, Beer clans, and Inn clans are not allowed to mingle economically in a direct manner. So Dwarven Tavern only sell beer, bread, and non-grape fruit (no Orchard clans).

Now fey taverns, they serve different things depending on if you are a Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Equinox, or Solstice.
