What are those 3-eyed giants called, and where do find'em?

Been trying to hunt down some giants that I recall reading about and I was hoping somebody could help me locate them. They were evil slavers and pirates that had a third eye in the middle of their forehead, which I believe induced fear or a curse. I also have distinct recollections of them having big, crooked, diabolic horns. I thought they were fomorians, but I found them in MM2 and they're giants of a completely different type.

WotC products are good enough to list monsters by type (and subtype) at the beginning of the book, and I've checked both MM2 and Fiend Folio. They're dead ends. Anyone else seen these critters before?

Weren't their three eyed giants in the Morcock section of the original Deities and Demigods? My book is in a box somewhere, so I can't check.

I believe I now recall what it was. They were giants called fomorians all right, but they were from the bestiary for the old Arcanum/Atlantis D&D 3rd-party supplement from the 1980's. With art by comics legend Bill Sienkiewicz no less. Good stuff.

Sorry to waste anyone's time. I've got a lot of old books. :)

It could have been somebody's version of the Formorians. Their king Balor in the Book of Invasions had a single eye that could slay those it viewed. His men had to prop up the lid to make it work.
