I have a question about how work were-curse. When a werewolf bite human/elven/dwarf,.. he could be a werewolf, when it's a weretiger he will be a weretiger... and so.

but what will do when wherewolf bite Aaracocra, Tabaxi, Loxodont, Yuan-ti, Genasi, Kenku or big question - Warforged?

This question is made because I'm tabaxi monk and in thursday we expect battle with werewolfs...

(and subquestion - it's bad to be cursed? I play chaotic good and think about MC to barbarien beast from Tasha, but much later)

RAW, those races are susceptible to lycanthropy as much as any other. Their race wouldn't have any impact on their vulnerability to being cursed, or their ability to transform into beast or hybrid form, or their appearance in that form.

(Note that 5e player centaurs and satyrs are immune to lycanthropy due to being Fey rather than Humanoids)

So yes, assuming minimal creative liberties taken, if your Tabaxi monk gets cursed by a werewolf, they would transform into a werewolf just the same as if a human were cursed. Weird mental image, I know, maybe playing a Khajiit werewolf run in Skyrim would make it seem less weird, I dunno.

The 5e Monster Manual states that if a lycanthrope embraces their curse, their alignment changes to match the NPC statblock of their form. For werewolves specifically, this would be Chaotic Evil. If they try to resist the curse, they retain their alignment, but can't transform at will.

Our campaign currently has an Aarakocra turning into a Wererat. It's... interesting. We haven't really figured out what the hybrid form looks like yet. He's definitely having a personal crisis over this whole turning mammalian thing though.

Mechanically becoming a Lycanthrope is great. Depending on the type of lycanthrope you get a potential stat boost and you become IMMUNE TO REGULAR WEAPON DAMAGE. You also get upgraded unarmed strikes in hybrid form, and you can change between your normal form, your hybrid form, and your animal form.

There is a major RP drawback though in that it changes your alignment, in most cases to evil (Werebears and Weretigers are the exceptions). There is also a drawback in that the DM might look at that whole immune to regular weapon damage thing and decide your character is going to break their campaign. It really won't, but it is something they have to take into account when planning encounters.

Also, unlike most 5e shapechanging, your clothes, armor, or other gear do not change with you or meld into your body, so if you want to go do recon in wolf form, you're doing it naked.
