Wearing multiple rings and switching out the "active" one.

Ok, lets say I have a PC with 3 rings. In the DMG it says you can wear multiple rings but that only 2 can be in effect. The rings are a ring of Wizardry, Enervation 1/day, and elemental fire command, not that I think any of that changes anything. My question is if you have all 3 on your fingers, but only 2 are active, what kind of action is it to stop using one of your rings and activate the 3rd one?

it is the order in which you put them on.

so it would require you taking one off and putting it back on again. making the 2 you kept on active.

I'd call it one stadard action to do that myself.
