Warhammer 40K to d20 conversions?

First Post
I've been searching the web for a fan based conversion of the Warhammer 40K universe to a d20 system with no luck. Anyone else know of thing out there?

I'd love to see the grim and gritty future of 40K converted to d20 using the Dragonstar or d20 Modern rules.

I haven't seen a d20 version of WH40k,don't think there is one, but if I were to try converting it to anything I would choose Storyteller, the ranges for ability scores for both people and weapons are almost identical. A weapon in WH40K with a Strength of 4 has a Strength of 4 in Storyteller, an Initiative of 3 equals both a Dexterity and Perception of 3, a WS of 4 equals a Firearms of 4, etc. Marines are really easy having a 4 in all of their ability scores and applicable skills, scary, scary, scary....

The Auld Grump, who ran a 40K RPG using Storyteller this past summer.

Thanks Kenpo Wolf!

Just what I was looking for. Looks like a great start!
I will check back soon on your work in progress. Keep up the great work! Have you had a chance to play test any of it yet?

LOL!!! It's not my work. It's just a site I found on my travels through the realm of D20.:). As for playtesting it, I'm planning on using elements from the site for my Star Gate campaign.

BTW, whats your interest in WH40k? Are you a player of it like I am?

It's back...

...The M41 Site, that is....

M41 is a d20 treatment of 40K.... I haven't finished it, not by a long shot, but see what you think....

Wow. Hey thanks. This is some pretty good stuff.

I noticed there are some missing pages (PrC's, Skills, Feats and Worlds). Don't know if this was intentional, just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks again.

Just remember that Games Workshop is highly protective of their copyrigthts and trademarks, although some of these seem impossible (Eldar? Come on, how can you copyright the word Eldar?). Their solicitor is pretty touchy about anything not strictly related to a GW game in a fan based way. Although I have never heard of GW closing a 40k (or WFB) to d20 crossover page or Yahoogroup, GW does close pages that deviate from what they find acceptable.

GW knows about M41...

... and they've known it for about a year.

I don't think they'll shut me down... but if they do... we'll have everybody's email address, we can still live the dream...
