D&D 5E Volo's Guide to Monsters Limited edition for $500+ on ebay?!

darjr

I crit!
A friend of mine had to sell his book, which sucks, but I really didn't get how much folks would pay for it!!! Do any of the others go for near this much? I see a signed one for $1200 but that isn't a bid and I think has been up there for a while. This blows my mind!

There are 17 watchers and 5 bids so far at $560.

I put mine up for auction a while back. Started around 100, ended up going for 600. Apparently it was a much smaller print run than all the other collectibles

It's kinda why when I see an Alternative Cover become an option, especially if it's a book I want, I try to get that pre-ordered as soon as possible. The only ones I've missed out on were Mords, Volvo's, and Xanathar's. And that's because at that time, I didn't go Alternative Cover collection crazy until Tyranny of Dragons 2019. From then on I've tried to get em whenever its an option. Tasha's hasn't become too much of a headache to get................................yet.

Scalpers are.....a special kind of people.

They deserve the hate they get. It's a miracle I found a place online with ONLY one single copy of the AiME's Loremaster Guide, for the actual $39.99 price+Tax+Shipping+ a 5 dollar tip, and not some unholy price tag you get when you look every where else online.

Looks like the hobby store covers all fetch high prices - even the newest one.

Maybe I'll grab a couple of copies of this one.
