Virtual drop tables?

Autumnal

Bruce Baugh, Writer of Fortune
I’ve been reading Into The Wyrd & Wild and Into The Cess & Citadel, and having a great time. The setting generation part of each calls for some drop table action. And that’s a problem: I don’t like the noise and am far too prone to having dice go where they shouldn’t. Does anyone know of websites or IOS apps that can simulate Nd6 against a blank, gridded, or hex background?

...

oh, not that kind of drop table.

I gather that what you're after is a dice roller where the physical (well, virtual) location of the dice matter, is that right? You might want to check out Genesys Dice and see if that does what you want. There is a rather faint grid on the default background that might work, and you can add "normal" dice (i.e. not just Genesys's narrative dice) to it. You might have to go into the settings to remove the sound though as it by default simulates a dice-rolling noise.

You could feed the tables into Claude.ai and ask it to roll on them.

This app lets you add custom backdrops if you upgrade to the Pro level (less than $5 by the look of it).

Dice 3D

You could create a backdrop with the tables and then roll dice against it. It is a physics engine so it will model where the dice go and any collisions between them.
