Ur-Priest and Divine Focus

Ur-Priest do not worship anything, not only deities but even some cause of specific alignment and such. If so, what kind of thing will an Ur-Priest uses for a divine focus? I guess this is just a flavor issue. But I am wondering what kind of thing should I let PCs found on the dead body of a villain Ur-Priest.

That is one excellent way to do it. I do this and/or have Ur Priests as Demon-Cultists (While there is nothing "wrong" with a Cleric of Orcus... a Rogue 5 / Ur Priest X of Orcus is just too damn cool)

Not a piece of flavor I've ever considered using (but by no means do I mean to imply that your take is in anyway wrong... just not my bag). I prefer to Ur Priests that worship things that aren't true Gods. I've also had a Wizard who became an Ur Priest as a result of trying to find out the "math" behind Divine spells. He eventually became a Wiz 5 / Ur 2 / Mystic Theurge 8.

Hmm. An Ur-Priest usually tries not to take too much from one source. So maybe multiple holy/unholy symbols of various deities and alignment?

Doesn't work, though, as there's a requirement of base saves +3 Fort, +3 Will... neither of which the Rogue-5 has. A Monk-1/Rogue-4, sure; a Savage Bard-5, Sure - but not a pure rogue.

Defaced or otherwise heretical symbols of the deities whose power he's been siphoning off?

Nothing better than the paladin finding some some defaced symbol carried by a member of his order that he'd known. And the cleric finding a heretical version of his own faith. Then both realizing the b@@#@$ had been stealing his power from THEIR god.

Thanks. That sounds nice! I want to see how a PC paladin of Bahamut will react when he finds a tarnished symbol of the Platinum Dragon. The BBEG is a pseudo-cleric of a dragon cult (serving a dragon who is not a true deity).

It works just fine when I'm DMing. Strange, that.

edit: You say "requirement", I say "guideline".
