D&D 5E upgrading a green hag

Hi folks,

I am thinking about running the AL adventure "Tales Trees Tell" for my group. It's meant for PCs of levels 1-4, whereas my PCs are 5th level. However, I'll only have three of them, so I won't need to make too many adjustments. The only thing I think I'll need to upgrade is the final encounter with the green hag, Jeny Greenteeth.

I know that the adventure allows for dealing with the hag peaceably, which is fine, but knowing my group, they'll probably want to fight her anyway, and on her own, she's just not going to be enough of a challenge. I'm thinking of giving her some allies -- perhaps she's got some cockatrices roaming her yard as if they were domesticated chickens or maybe she can summon up some more blights or something to aid her -- and/or some legendary/lair actions.

If you were to give a green hag some legendary and/or lair actions, what would they be? We haven't got any legendary fey creatures for me to use for inspiration yet. According to "Tales Trees Tell", Jeny Greenteeth lives alone in a little cottage in a clearing in the woods. I don't think the cottage is made of gingerbread but I suppose it could be ... ;)

Anyway, hit me with some cool ideas for making a CR 3 green hag a challenge for a group of three 5th level PCs!

Yeah, that's a cool idea! Thanks. I could have some flowers that release a pollen that works like drow poison or something.

Following on that theme, I would look to her being defended by the woods and woodland creatures. A swarm if bunnies maybe?

Everything is cute until it and 100 of its buddies are trying to chew your arms off.

Those are some nice suggestions for lair actions. Since I can't think of anything better in that line, how about the following for legendary actions:

Cackle: the hag casts viscous mockery.
Evil Eye: the hag forces one enemy to look at her eyes. If the enemy fails a DC ? wisdom check, he or she has disadvantage on his or her next attack.
Let Granny Pinch those Cheeks: the hag moves her speed towards an enemy and makes a melee attack against him or her (sorry don't have the MM with me, so I don't recall what the green hag's melee attack is).

Could have her front yard be a maze with wandering needle blights or other foliage related enemys maybe a nymph bathing in a pond within to help deplete PC's. If they rest inside she strikes

Everything in the Green Dragon's lair would work with limited adjustment.

As for the hag herself, check what happens to the encounter if you double her HP and give her two actions per round.
