Have you read Understanding Comics: the Invisible Art, by Scott McCloud? If so, what are your thoughts on the work?

It was good, and ought to be a fundamental part of pop culture education.

I really love the scene where he defines art as a caveman blowing a raspberry at a sabertooth tiger.
