Tru Calling?

Wasn't Tru Calling supposed to premiere Thursday night? It was supposed to start up again the same day as The O.C. I see The O.C., but no Tru Calling. Was it cancelled by those fools at FOX? Or maybe they pushed it back to January when 24 starts up again? Anyone know?

Eliza Dushku confirms cancellation rumours.

Appearing at London Movie, Comic and Media Expo, Eliza Dushku and Shawn Reaves confirmed that Tru Calling would not be returning to US TV screens.

The pair heard of the news just as they had finished filming a reduced season of six episodes.

There are currently no plans to air the six episodes, but it is hoped that they will be released on DVD if a first season release is a big seller.

Yay! I really, really disliked that show, primarily for the way it would re-summarize the plot ever 10 minutes or so. (But still my sympathies to those who liked it.)

I only watched the first episode with Hudson Leick in it. After that I couldn't get into the show... imo the idea had sort of been done before it was almost like Quantum Leap lol
