Tome of battle Shadow Sun ninja

I was browsing Bo9s and I saw Shadow Sun ninja. Looks awesome especially undead ability. The thing is I tend to stay away from monk classes, they don't get the damage dealing capabilities of fighter.

I wanted to know the best ways to make use of my flurry of blows. Should I just use a magic staff? Is there any magical gauntlet that enhances a monk unarmed attacks and lets them keep their unarmed damage.
My main goal is to use flurry with two weapon fighting and have an insane amount of attacks that can actually damage higher level monsters.

If thats not possible 'What would be an ideal (damage dealing) character build for Shadow Sun Ninja."

You really don't need TWF with FoB.

The most common Monk build is centered around Str. There is no question that it is an effective build for the class.

I, however, favor a Dex Monk build, usually with a polearm and Combat Reflexes. Depending upon your available sourcebooks, you can even make polearms into Monk weapons...even ones like the 2d6 Greatspear.

(The most recent Str vs Dex monk debate of which I'm aware was in this thread:

Monks belt and Guantlet of the Talon (if you worship Bahamut: a. have True Believer feat or b. sacrifice a divine spell slot)
This gives you +10 Monk level for AC, Unarmed damage, and stuff like that. Very useful if you decide to multiclass out of Monk.
9 levels of Monk is lowest you should go if you want to use Flurry that much: this reduces penalty from FoB to -0.

If you check the book with shadow sun ninja in it you'll find a feat called

Superior unarmed strike

Basically it adds four levels of monk to determine how much damage you can do with your unarmed strike.

Of course, I'm not sure if you're ever better off taking that before or instead of Improved Natural Attack, which monks qualify for...
