The Great Dragons in Dragonlance

Hi, I know that there is a Dragonlance forum at the WOTC site, but I like you guys better Well onto my question,I've only read a few of the post Chaos war(Fifth age) novels, has it ever been said where the great dragons came from (IE meaning Malys, Skie, Beryl etc..)? I know there not native to Krynn, so could they have come from Toril or some other such place?

Where the great dragons are from hasn't been revealed yet. It will probably be revealed in Dragons of a Vanished Moon coming out somewhere in this spring.
But I don´t think they come from Toril. Mixing Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms would be a worse decision than killing the gods for me.

...when I read the ads for the SAGA stuff and the Chaos Wars, I always mused if the Great Dragons weren´t just Takhisis´ heads that split up and tried to take rulership of Krynn...

Does anyone remember what happened to Cyan Bloodbane?

As explained in Dragons of the Lost Star and the first book, Cyan was killed by Mina and the Silvanesti Elves. Skie was Kitiras mount and is obsessed with her, but he came to Krynn 200 years before the War of Souls. (He was the first of the invader dragons)

He's dead, killed in Dragons of a Fallen Sun. He was using the guise of an elven wizard living amongst the elves (as well as subtely controlling and slowly killing them), though once his true nature was revealed, the Silvanesti killed him.


EDIT: Damn, he beat me to it, too. Heh.

The silvanesti only thought he was killed in DOSF, he actually polymorphed into an elf, and became counsellor to the speaker
