The Kickstarter for the fourth and final film in "The Gamers" series has launched. This will not be the last thing done in the universe of The Gamers, but the last time the gaming group that came together in "Dorkness Rising" and "Hands of Fate" will appear. It will run from today, for 32 days.

Thanks for sharing; I'm not sure I would have seen this otherwise!
I tried DMing you, but it looks like you have them disabled. It's not going through the usual ZOE system so it might not get as wide an announcement. Matt wants to make sure that it gets made before his cast are all touring Fartherall with walkers.

"TWELVE YEARS LATER..."

Huh, not sure how that happened. I've fixed it now.

That would explain why I didn't get a notice. Usually people who've backed their previous Kickstarters are the first people to be told, so not having heard about this that way was puzzling me.

PaizoCon ran the Kickstarter video last Friday and did a live panel, on Twitch, last Friday. i only found out about it maybe 10-15 minutes into it and jumped right on Twitch. Considering I talk to Andy and Scott almost daily, and Brian and Matt V occasionally, they really kept the lid on until it was a sure thing. And Jen is coming back, too, for a cameo.

Please share the campaign and help to get the word out. The Kickstarter is an all or nothing proposition. If it funds then the film gets made. If it doesn't then no money is collected from the pledges and the film doesn't happen.

Nice, I'm still waiting for them to complete Journey Quest, which is 3.5 years overdue. But I'm more forgiving and patient with film as I would rather wait for the creaters to put out a good product than rush something out. Also, COVID greatly affected their ability to progress. I'm a huge fan The Gamers and will be backing this.

JQ4 should be releasing at GenCon this year.
